Mom's Morning Out

Purpose

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

Welcome to the MMO program at Trinity.  Our number one goal is to model Jesus to your children.  If your children gain nothing else from MMO, I want them to hear about the love of Jesus.  This year Trinity has taken on the them of “Know, Grow and Go”.  As adults we will KNOW God, GROW closer to God and GO and serve others.  Our children will not know God personally while at MMO, but they will hear about him.  We will strive to teach your children to KNOW the love of Jesus, GROW in their love for Jesus and GO and tell their friends about his love.  My staff is committed to sharing their love for Jesus with your children each and every day.  I hope and pray that when they leave MMO they will know that Jesus loves them and that each and every teacher loves them.  Shannon King, MMO Director

CLASSES

Babies and Ones

The purpose of this class is development and socialization.  They will learn to interact with their new friends.  This is the first time many children have been away from Mom and Dad.  Our days are filled with hugs, kisses and lots of love.

Twos

The purpose of this class is to show your child that learning is fun!  Through songs, stories and play we work on learning our colors, shapes, numbers and letters.  Along with our parents, we will reinforce beginning potty skills.

Threes

The objective in this class is to teach children basic preschool comprehension.  Letters, numbers, colors and shapes are reinforced through craft projects, songs, and science experiments.  We provide a nurturing classroom that consists of comforting hurt feelings and boo-boos, to embracing each child with endless hugs and high fives.

Fours

The primary purpose of the 4 Year Old Class is Kindergarten readiness.  We focus on practicing and mastering preschool skills, so each child will easily transition into Kindergarten.  We incorporate both teacher-directed learning, in large and small groups, and self-directed learning, such as center time, into our daily routine.  Our classroom provides successful opportunities for young learners in a nurturing, fun and developmentally appropriate environment.  A positive experience in our 4 Year Old Program will help to build a solid foundation for future learning.

PROGRAMS

**Chapel and Music  -- The two, three, and four year old children go to chapel on Thursdays at 9:30.  Chapel is led by one of the pastors here at Trinity.  The weekly Bible story is reinforced at this time.  The children also are instructed in music, art, and science throughout the week.  Each class goes for 30 minutes.

**Christmas and Graduation programs --  Twice a year the MMO children will sing during the Sunday service here at Trinity.  All children are invited and encouraged to attend.

***Thanksgiving and Easter lunches – Each Thanksgiving and Easter we hold a family lunch.  The MMO provides the meat and each child's family brings a side dish.  This is a great time of fellowship for the children and adults.  All children are encouraged to invite their family and special friends to attend.

****Golf Tournament – The MMO does an annual golf tournament to help fund the program.  MMO is supported solely by the tuition of the students.  In order to keep costs down this is our main fund raiser.  Our golf tournament is planned for the whole family.  We will have a dinner afterwards for all participants of the tournament and all of the MMO families.  Please let us know if you and/or your company would like to be involved.

*****Field Trips  -- Fire Department, Mission House, Pumpkin Patch, Holly Tree Animal Hospital, Happy Cow, and Pizza Inn
